  1. Greetings Peter. Terrific that your putting in the effort to assist people interested in collecting Australian Art Glass. I found your blog while researching Wendy Hannam from Adelaide. Your blog assisted me with dating the piece I have. It appears that she has two streams of work. Exhibition and production work, like so many glass artists in Australia the production work provides the cash flow to keep the furnace going so they can produce the more demanding major exhibition works. Like yourself I think Australian glass artist are underated (often dismissed as ‘crafty’) A time will come when the media catch on and a ABC style ‘Collectors’ show will say hey look at this stuff and everyone will want one (just like the Gunda ceramics) Keep up the great work all the best Peter.
